Tsavorite is a gemstone in the garnet group known for its striking green hue. It's a relatively rare gemstone. Tanzania and Kenya are the primary source of the gemstone. The gemstone was named in honor of Tsavo East National Park in Kenya by Tiffany & Co President Sir Henry Platt.

The green of Tsavorite can rival that of the emerald, and often has less inclusions, sometimes even appearing flawless.
